Reboot Combat Recovery - Nashville, TN

George’s Run Across America will route him through Nashville on Sunday, October 23rd, presenting a unique opportunity to bring together the voices of multiple Veteran’s organizations to support a common cause.

Hundreds of runners will gather to join George as he finishes the last leg of his run into Nashville. In a sign of support, runners will proceed down Belmont Boulevard crossing the finish line on the campus of Belmont University. There is no cost to run in the event!

Following the run, influential leaders from our community will speak and honor our active duty military and veterans. A street festival will follow featuring live music, children’s activities, vendor booths and great food!

In addition to the run, we are challenging our political leaders to step up and resolve the concerns related to the care and support for active duty military returning from combat to civilian life. Based on the government’s own reporting, an average of 22 veterans are lost to suicide every single day – over 260,000 since the end of the Vietnam War.Along our run, George will highlight this issue by capturing over 260,000 signatures for the Stop Solider Suicides- Reverse Boot Camp petition that will be taken to the White House when he runs through Washington, D.C. Funds raised will support REBOOT Combat Recovery.
